To prevent the buildup of mineral deposits in areas with hard water, it's important to regularly rinse and wipe the inside of the sink with a microfiber cloth after each use. To maintain the sink's shine over time, consider using a mixture of bleach and hot water for deep cleaning and sanitization. Fill the sink with hot water and add a cup or two of bleach when it's about halfway full. Allow the bleach solution to sit until it cools to room temperature, then drain the sink and refill it with clean water to remove any residual bleach. Applying a thin layer of liquid wax to the sink's surface once a month can also help make cleanup easier by preventing food and liquid from sticking, allowing debris to be washed away more effortlessly.
What are the Things to Avoid ?
- Do Not use abrasive pads, steel wool, or wire brushes when cleaning the sink. Use only soft sponges-Although soft abrasive cleaners (e.g. blue Scotch Brite pad) may be used when necessary, strong abrasive cleaners (e.g. green Scotch Brite pad) may scratch and dull the sink surface
